Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high quality dental care. We understand that you or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing you with the best care possible.

Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your health as well as learning about your specific preferences.

During your first visit our goal is to begin to estabilish a a great dentist patient relationship.  With regards to our adult patients, we begin with a relaxed consultation in which we strive to learn specifically about you, your past dental experiences as well as any specific concerns that you want us to be aware of.  This is followed up with a comprehensive dental examination.  We will also advise you on what x-rays to take that we feel would benefit you, but as always, that decision is entirely up to you.

Accommodating

Some of our patients prefer to have their teeth cleaned right away.  For these new patients, we will be more than happy to schedule your first visit with our hygienist Maureen.  We want you to know that your priorities are our priorities.

Your child's new patient visit

We always schedule a child's first visit to our practice with our hygienist.  We have found this to be be the most efficient way to address their needs.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:

  • Your completed patient information forms
  • Your insurance card

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
